John Curtin Gallery Director Chris Malcolm said the exhibition is a wonderful opportunity to exhibit works that show each Director’s true vision for the Collection.

“The selection of works on show are very personal, so of course Directors’ Cut is more like three separate and distinct exhibitions featuring a diversity of art forms. But they say a lot about the Director who selected them,” said Mr Malcolm.

DIRECTORS’ CUT runs until Sunday 8 July.

The John Curtin Gallery, which houses the Curtin University Art Collection also celebrates its 20thAnniversary in 2018 after opening as Australia’s largest university art museum in 1998.   Directors’ Cut is curated by John Curtin Gallery Director, Chris Malcolm in collaboration with the other two curators to have led the JCG since it opened in 1998 – John Barrett-Lennard (founding Director, 1995–2001) and Professor Ted Snell (Dean of Art, 2001–2009).
