COVID-19 Safety

To safeguard your health and safety, Curtin encourages mask wearing in indoor spaces especially if distancing isn’t possible. Curtin University has a COVID-19 vaccination mandate for staff, students, visitors and contractors on all Western Australian campuses and venues. If requested guests must show proof of vaccination in accordance with the University mandate (unless a medical exemption applies).

Admission

The Gallery is free to visit, donations are welcome. To protect artworks, the Gallery is climate controlled and can be a little cool.

We have an exciting Public Program and calendar of events including exhibitions, tours, floor talks, school holiday programs and facilitated workshops at the John Curtin Gallery. There may be a fee for some special events with discounts available for pensioners, students and healthcare card holders.

The Gallery is located on the ground floor in Building 200A at our Perth Campus in Bentley. When you arrive on campus you can find directions to the Gallery on our Curtin Campus Map, which highlights cycle paths, buildings, parking and accessibility.

Opening hours

The Gallery is open to the public during exhibitions.
Monday to Friday: 11am to 5pm
Sunday: 12pm to 4pm

Getting here

There are a number of ways to get to campus including by car, taxi and bus, train and bicycle. If you are using public transport, please visit Transperth’s website to plan your journey.

Parking

There are short term visitor bays available in the Blue Zone, with payment taken at the closest pay station ($3.60/hr). Click here to download campus map.

Curtin has an electronic pay-as-you-go parking system called CellOPark. Once you’re registered (skip staff or student ID number), you can start parking straight away. Parking on weekdays is $1.55 per hour (maximum of $6.30 per transaction) and parking on weekends is free. All visitors should park in the Yellow Zone. Food and drink

Aroma Café is opposite the Gallery and is open from Monday to Friday 7.30am – 3.00pm during semesters. Café hours vary during semester breaks. Opening hours will be posted on the Café door or check with Gallery staff.

There are many other food outlets on campus as well as a range of food trucks.
