This photo was taken of the 11th Battalion A.I.F on the Great Pyramid of Khufu, Giza on Sunday 10 January, 1915.

Together, 100 Years Apart was presented in honour of all those serving in the 11th Battalion A.I.F. at the start of the First World War.
Raised in Western Australia at the beginning of the war, the 11th battalion formed part of the first contingent of troops to depart Australia in 1914
