Imaginary Encounters:
Curtin writers respond to Everything Is True

John Curtin Gallery
Wednesday 24 February 2021, 12:30pm – 1:30pm

Curtin University creative and professional writing staff and higher degree by research (HDR) students respond to the exhibition Everything Is True in an engaging presentation of poetry and prose.

Curious, we stop to look and enter the imaginary, shaping diverse and unexpected offerings in response to the exhibition. Moving, exploratory and playful, the readings will feature creative work from a range of writers, including award-winning authors Deborah Hunn, Matthew Chrulew and Rosemary Stevens.

Facilitator and contributor Rachel Robertson is Deputy Head of the School of Media, Creative Arts and Social Inquiry at Curtin University, author of the memoir Reaching One Thousand and editor of the collections Purple Prose and Dangerous Ideas about Mothers.
