12.30pm – 1.30pm Wednesday 30 March 2022

Curtin University staff respond with personal and creative pieces to the JCG exhibition Isaac Julien.

It’s often said that a picture is worth a thousand words. So what happens when writers are given the opportunity to immerse themselves in the richly poetic and visual world of Isaac Julien’s work, but are asked to write no more than a thousand words in response?

The reading will feature creative and personal pieces by Curtin University staff with backgrounds in human rights, screen arts, fine arts, fiction, poetry and creative non-fiction as the Writers Respond series returns for its second year.
